Sesma and its former Director acquitted in a suspected case of patronage
Sesma, the company that manages and operates the Grand Case airport, as well as its (former) Executive Director were acquitted by the Court of Saint-Martin for the suspected of patronage. They had been accused by the architect Joseph Mougames, who considered there was a case of "financial embezzlement".
Specifically, after that Semsamar had withdrawn from a work in progress, Sesma requested the services of Yannick Beaud’s (an ex employee of the Semsamar) company, to resume the works. No call for competition had been released because the amount of the services did not impose such a measure (in conformity with the ‘public procurement code’). And it is for this reason that the Court acquitted Sesma, his former Executive Manager and consequently - Yannick Beaud, who had been accused of concealment.
