Prime Minister William Marlin congratulates President-Elect Daniel Gibbs

Last Sunday's run-off election in the Northern half of our island has resulted in a resounding victory for Team Gibbs. "I have already sent the President-Elect of the Collectivite, Mr. Daniel Gibbs a personal message and called him Sunday evening to congratulate him and his team.  All of us should be proud of the peaceful and orderly manner in which our brothers and sisters went out to vote twice within a week to elect their new representatives. We all watched with keen interest how they exercised their democratic right to choose first from eight political parties and then from three. Congratulations to all those who took part in the process. I look forward to working closely with the new administration in Marigot to further strengthen the relationship between our governments and our people", says the Prime minister William Marlin in a press release.
