Strike at the Collectivité: the trade unions’ demands
After five hours of negotiations, the human resources manager, the managing director of services, president Aline Hanson and the CGTG union representing the Collectivité agents, who had launched a call for a strike, found an agreement. "The memorandum of understanding is in the process of being finalized", said the Collectivité communications department at 3:45 pm.
The agreement has been signed by the two parties late afternoon.
The people on strike demanded a better compliance with labor laws. "Dear Colleagues, your career is at stake. The demands
- Compliance with the commitments made following the strike notices in March 2015 and March 2016.
- A job description for all agents which the C.G.T.G. has been demanding since January 2015.
- A job assessment interview for every agent as required by the regulations.
- Career updating for agents since 2013.
- The catching up of the 2014, 2015 and 2016 Joint Administrative Commissions.
- The mandatory training of C.H.S.C.T. (Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee) members in accordance with the regulations.
- The re-establishment of lunch vouchers for the Collectivité employees who work in schools.
