New selective sorting posts
The collectivité of Saint-Martin - The Department for the Environment and the Quality of life - began installing new selective sorting posts throughout the territory on Thursday June 23. In all, by the end of 2016, 107 additional posts will be made available to the public in the neighborhoods.
This operation is part of the campaign to raise awareness about the selective sorting of household waste, launched by the collectivité of Saint Martin in May 2016, with the objective of collecting 22kg of recycled waste per capita by 2018.
By this civic action, the Collectivité of Saint-Martin is committed to making selective sorting an automatic gesture in Saint-Martin. The population is invited to actively take part in this campaign which aims to protect our environment by making selective sorting a daily gesture.
