"On the sea" almost underwater
On Sunday August 7, the Cul-de-Sac residents noticed that the houseboat "On the sea" was sinking, as can be seen on the picture below sent by one of our readers. The authorities haven’t contacted the owners yet who are probably on vacation away from the island. The lack of a visible license number doesn’t make their job easy and a neighborhood investigation will be conducted.
According to our sources, at first sight, the boat which was left unattended appears to have taken on water due to the heavy rains. The boat just needs to have the water pumped out in order to get it back afloat which would not be difficult or costly. Afterwards, the owners will then need to legalize their musical bar and restaurant activity which they have been practicing up until now without any authorization.
