Dauphin Telecom, Buzz and McDonald’s have launched the Pokémon hunt

You have probably heard of the Pokémon Go phenomenon, this game which is based on the principle of augmented reality, associated with your phone’s geo-location and camera in order to make creatures appear which are to be captured in real life. This application which has been deployed in a few days in over 200 countries, has been installed nearly 75,000,000 times around the world and became available in Saint Martin three weeks ago.

"The public’s enthusiasm is such that companies like Buzz, Dauphin Telecom and Mc Donald’s have decided to organize the first Pokémon hunt in Saint Martin", according to their announcement in a press release.

It will be held on Saturday September 3. Fans are therefore invited to sign up in front of the restaurant at Howell Center starting at 1:30 pm. The first 50 to sign up will receive a welcome kit for a successful hunt: a t-shirt with the hunt’s logo, Power bank (fans know that the game quickly consumes battery power!) and water.

Participants can win smartphones and a VIP card for Mc Donalds that will be valid until the end of 2016! The race will begin at 2:30 pm and end at the same place at 5 pm at the latest.
