Bottleneck at Grand Case, Roadblocks still in place

According to several eyewitness accounts, a major bottleneck has formed in Grand Case.

Territorial Police are positioned at the Cul de Sac roundabout, and are preventing all vehicles from driving towards Orient Bay.

A meeting between representatives of the Saint Martin Wake up Committee, Collectivité and the Prefect is still underway at the Préfecture.

The roadblocks are not being lifted. They will be lifted only if the Committee is satisfied with the responses provided by the authorities. Police officers are still in place in French Quarter and Orient Bay.
