Two armed robberies in Sint Maarten
The Police Special Robber Unit is presently investigating two recent armed robberies which took place in the late evening and early morning hours of Friday April 8th and Saturday April 9th 2016. One robbery took place at a secondary school in the Sint Peters area where the two security guards that were on duty were robbed of their belongings by four young men, possibly teenagers, who had their faces covered and one of which was in the possession of a fire arm. After committing this act all four persons fled the scene on foot. The second robbery took place on the Billy Folly road in the vicinity of Buccaneer and Burger King. The victims were robbed of their cash and cellular telephone by two unknown armed men who had their faces covered. The suspects had their faces covered and after committing this act the fled the scene on foot.
