Aline Hanson gives her wishes to the people of Saint-Martin

« My Saint-Martin people,

This is Christmas time, a time for sharing and giving. Families getting together celebrating and bounding.

Let’s make this christmas season special to each and every one.

Go out and visit friends, families, the sick and the shut in.

The lighting ceremony on the waterfront launched the season. I was happy to see so much of my people there celebrating with our musicians. Illuminations were done in all of the districts to make our island shine.

Let us make sure our visitors – who are numerous this time of the year - feel the Saint-Martin spirit of christmas.

Share the punch, the tarts and the puddings, but most of all share the love !
